CJ Logistics collaborates with Danggeun Market for second-hand transaction delivery services.

Providing a Convenient Hyperlocal-Based Logistics Experience
Exclusive Delivery for Danggeun Market’s ‘Immediate Purchase’
From Collection to Last-Mile… Introducing E2E Services

CJ Logistics has announced on the 18th that it will be exclusively handling the delivery for the ‘Immediate Purchase Service’ launched by Danggeun Market on the 17th. The two companies plan to offer a safe and convenient logistics experience through collaboration on the delivery of second-hand transaction items on the Danggeun Market platform.

The ‘Immediate Purchase’ service is a one-stop transaction service where when a seller selects the immediate purchase option when uploading a post, the buyer can make a payment and arrange for parcel delivery. The seller inputs the contact information, shipping origin, item weight, etc., while the buyer enters the delivery destination and makes a payment that includes the shipping fee, allowing them to receive the item.

To facilitate this collaboration, a ‘Hyperlocal-Based Logistics Service Agreement Ceremony’ was held on the 3rd at the CJ Logistics headquarters in Jongno-gu, where a business partnership for the ‘Immediate Purchase’ service was formed. The event was attended by key personnel from both companies, including Hyeongjun Do, Head of Sales at CJ Logistics, and Jinwoo Lee, CEO of Danggeun Pay.

Under this business partnership, CJ Logistics will manage the delivery of second-hand items sold on Danggeun Market. Particularly, they plan to enhance users’ second-hand transaction experience with E2E (End to End) logistics services that cover the entire process from collection by the delivery agent at the seller’s designated location to final delivery.

Additionally, they have developed an IT system to boost second-hand trading. For privacy protection between Danggeun Market traders, CJ Logistics introduced an immediate purchase-exclusive waybill that does not expose personal information of both the seller and the buyer. Furthermore, an exclusive screen for Danggeun Market was added to their operations system, ‘Loys Parcel,’ which integrates all data from parcel acceptance and inquiries to the delivery process, increasing operational efficiency.

Moving forward, the two companies plan to enhance consumer convenience by developing Danggeun Market-exclusive packaging kits and to conduct the ‘O-NE x Danggeun Market Joint Promotion’ to invigorate the second-hand trading market and raise awareness of the Danggeun Market’s immediate purchase service.

Hyeongjun Do, Head of Sales at CJ Logistics, stated, “Through the differentiated delivery service unveiled with Danggeun Pay, we aim for customers to experience safer and more convenient second-hand transactions,” and added, “Both companies will continue to work together to smoothly execute hyperlocal-based logistics services.”
