Promotional events, music broadcasts, and entertainment facilities such as cinemas and KidZania were suspended during the period of mourning. Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, and other Vietnam subsidiaries paid their respects at a local national funeral home. Chairman Jung Won-joo of Daewoo Construction offered condolences and consoled the Vietnamese Ambassador in Seoul, saying, “I regret that you have more important matters to attend to.” Daewoo Construction is independently advancing the Starlake City New Town project in Vietnam.’,
