Chairman Koo Bon-joon of LX Group generously donated 100 million won as a childbirth encouragement gift to an employee who became a ‘father of quadruplets’.

On the 7th, LX Holdings announced that the previous day, Chairman Koo had gifted 100 million won to Jeong Jae-ryong, a senior employee in the purchasing team at LX Hausys in Cheongju, and his spouse, Ga Mi-so, who recently gave birth to quadruplets.

Additionally, LX Hausys provided a separate childbirth encouragement payment of 50 million won, bringing the total amount received by Mr. Jeong to 150 million won.

To alleviate the burden of childbirth and childcare, the company adjusted his position from the production department, which operates on a three-shift system, to a department with daytime work hours.

In September, Mr. Jeong and his wife welcomed quadruplets: Seoha (son), Siha (daughter), Doha (son), and Yulha (daughter).

The quadruplets, who received care in incubators, were all healthily returned to their family last month.

Mr. Jeong expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am still surprised but incredibly happy to receive such unexpected congratulations from Chairman and many members of the company. Our quadruplets are a miracle and a blessing to us, and with all the congratulatory messages and attention, we will raise them well and healthily.”

Chairman Koo extended his congratulations, saying, “Congratulations on becoming parents to lovely quadruplets. I wish for their health as they grow into a great joy for your family, and I eagerly anticipate their robust and bright upbringing.”
