Boseong Group’s Hanyang has been selected as the preferred negotiation candidate for the P-2 zone in the Pyeongtaek Godeok package public offering project.

Hanyang, a subsidiary of Bosung Group, has been selected as the preferred negotiator for the Pyeongtaek Godeok package-type project. Hanyang has received positive evaluations this year for its efforts to diversify its bidding channels, focusing on stable projects such as urban redevelopment, design competitions, and technology-based bids, effectively achieving both ‘growth’ and ‘stability.’

On December 16th, Hanyang announced that it was chosen as the preferred negotiator for the P-2 district in the ‘Pyeongtaek Godeok package-type private business project’ competition organized by Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH).

Hanyang participated in this project with a consortium where it holds a 51% stake, alongside Jeil Construction (34%) and Daebo Construction (15%). The P-2 district, covering an area of approximately 165,715㎡ (about 50,000 pyeong), will feature four blocks with a total of 2,432 housing units. The project includes a design competition component worth KRW 308.1 billion (land cost) and a private participation public housing project valued at KRW 275.6 billion (project cost).

In the design competition, Hanyang received high marks for proposals such as the layout considering a large central plaza and ventilation axis, as well as plate-shaped specialized floor plans reflecting user needs. For the private participation public housing project, the proposal for a complex layout centered around a central plaza and specialized community features like a sky lounge and children’s futsal field were highly rated.

Besides this project, Hanyang has diversified its bidding channels through urban redevelopment, design competitions, and SOC. In urban redevelopment, it secured projects like the Goyang Haengsin 1-1 zone redevelopment and the Bucheon Bugae 4 zone redevelopment in Incheon. In SOC projects, it won the contract for the maintenance hangar apron facility construction at Incheon International Airport.

In July, Hanyang, along with BS Industry, another Bosung Group affiliate, secured the development rights for B1 and B2 blocks of the Pungmu Station area development project. In November, they additionally won the first construction zone for the Uijeongbu Ujeong A-1BL apartment project.

In the sales market, the ‘Han River Sujain Obsent,’ a redevelopment of the Gimpo Bukbyeon 4 zone supplied in September, achieved complete sales within two weeks of contract initiation. The company also successfully completed the move-in for complexes like ‘Daegu Hanyang Sujain the Palace City’ and ‘Busan Eco Delta Smart City Sujain’ that were completed this year.

A representative from Hanyang stated, “We will use the stable order intake as a driving force to selectively pursue high-quality projects,” and added, “The year 2025 will focus on securing stability and growth through diligent cost management and efficiency improvement.”
