According to the National Investigation Division’s Martial Law Special Investigation Team of the National Police Agency, travel bans have been imposed on five individuals: Jinwoo Lee, Commander of the Capital Defense Command; Jongkeun Kwak, Commander of the Army Special Warfare Command; Jiho Cho, Commissioner of the National Police Agency; Bongshik Kim, Commissioner of the Seoul Police Agency; and Hyuntae Mok, Head of the National Assembly Guard. On the 10th, News1 reported that the special investigation team announced they completed imposing travel bans on these five individuals, who are under suspicion of rebellion, at around 8 PM on the 9th.
The special investigation team requested on the 9th that various military divisions, including the Counterintelligence Command, Capital Defense Command, Army Special Warfare Command, Cyber Operations Command, Defense Intelligence Command, and the Ministry of National Defense, submit materials related to the deployment status of personnel in connection with the proclamation of martial law.
The special investigation team emphasized the seriousness of the matter and urged for prompt cooperation.
