(Seongnam = News1) Reporter Bae Su-ah = Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will open a skating rink and sledding slope on the 20th.
According to Seongnam City on the 15th, the skating rink along the Tancheon Stream in Yatap-dong, Seongnam, will open at 1 p.m., and the sledding slope at Seongnam Sports Complex will open at 3 p.m.
The skating rink is 4,000㎡ in size and includes a 58m-long general use rink and a 38m-long traditional sledding rink.
The sledding slope is equipped with 10 lanes with a slope (28m wide × 55m long).
The usage fee is 1,000 won per session, which includes equipment rental for skates, sleds, and safety helmets.
On weekdays, it operates six sessions daily from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, it extends by one more session to operate seven sessions until 8 p.m.
For each session, 90 out of 130 skating slots and 120 out of 180 sledding slots can be reserved online by the day before.
The facilities will be operational until February 15 of next year.
