“Stabbing Threat Followed by Explosion” at Incheon High School… Joint Response by Police and Fire Department

[Herald Economy = Kim Sung-hoon] A knife attack and bomb threat targeting a high school in Incheon was reported to the fire authorities, prompting a joint response with the police.

According to the Incheon Fire Department, at around 7:49 a.m. on the 13th, a post threatening to plant explosives at Daein High School in Seo-gu was made on the 119 Safety Report Center.

The unidentified poster claimed they would “go to the school at 11 a.m., stab someone, then plant and detonate explosives.”

The fire authorities requested a joint response from the police, and both teams were dispatched to the scene, while the school decided to suspend classes temporarily to ensure safety.

So far, no explosives have been found, and the police stated that they are managing the situation on-site to prepare for any possible emergencies.
