“The Saemangeum Development Agency has been selected as the ‘Top Excellence’ institution among 48 central administrative agencies in the ‘2024 Information Disclosure Comprehensive Evaluation’ organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety,” reported Herald Economy’s Dae-sung Park in Gunsan.
The agency scored perfect marks in eight metrics, including proactive information disclosure, with a score of 96.63, which is 5.52 points higher than the average score of 91.11 for central administrative agencies.
The key factor in achieving the top excellence rating was the agency’s proactive release of reliable information about Saemangeum from the public’s perspective.
Kim Kyung-an, head of the Saemangeum Development Agency, stated, “We will continue to transparently disclose information desired by the public from their perspective, aiming to be a trusted institution.”
This evaluation targeted 554 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, and assessed five fields with eleven metrics, including ① proactive information announcement ② original information disclosure ③ handling of information disclosure requests ④ customer management ⑤ system operation.
