**CCTV Used to Track and Recover Lost Taser Gun**

The police have recovered a Taser gun that was lost during an operation within approximately 18 hours. According to reports, the Suwon South Police Station announced that they retrieved the missing Taser gun from a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, near the Osan Bridge in Osan City at 11:55 PM the previous day.

The Taser gun was lost at around 5:30 AM when Officer B from the Gokseon District was returning after responding to a report. Officer B had responded to a call about an elderly person lying at a bus stop in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, provided assistance, and then accidentally dropped the Taser gun with its holster while getting back into his patrol car to return to the station.

By analyzing CCTV footage from the control center, the police identified that Mr. A, who had received assistance from Officer B, picked up the Taser gun and put it in his bag. They tracked his movements and successfully recovered the Taser gun.

The Taser, a new model known as the ‘Taser 7’, capable of firing two consecutive shots, was returned in its original condition at the time it was lost. The police are considering whether to charge Officer B with embezzlement of lost property.
