Police Arrest Self-Employed Individual in ‘Green Jumper’ for Rampage at Western District Court

A man known as Mr. A, who caused damage to the Western Seoul Courthouse using a fire extinguisher during a disturbance, has been arrested after two weeks. Contrary to previous reports that he was either a university student or an office worker, he has been identified as self-employed.

According to the police and other sources on the 4th, Mr. A is engaged in self-employment, not as a student or an office worker. He is accused of breaking into the Western Seoul Courthouse and causing property damage following the arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol in the early hours of the 19th last month.

A special evangelist from Sarang Jeil Church, Mr. B, who directly participated in and incited the riot at the Western Seoul Courthouse, has also been arrested. The Mapo Police Station has apprehended Mr. B on charges including unlawful entry and is currently investigating him.

Mr. B was captured on video during the riot on the 19th of last month, shouting, “If you are a supporter of Yoon Seok-yeol, fight with us. If things continue like this, President Yoon Seok-yeol will die immediately.”

Currently, two special evangelists from Sarang Jeil Church have been arrested for their involvement in the court riot. Previously, a special evangelist, Mr. Lee, was captured kicking doors of judges’ offices and searching for judges in charge of warrants.

The police intend to investigate not only Mr. B’s involvement in the riot but also whether he incited the disturbance from behind the scenes.

The Mapo Police Station has also arrested a YouTuber, Mr. C, who live-streamed the riot at the Western Seoul Courthouse. During the broadcast, Mr. C was heard shouting, “This is like May 18, XX. This is democracy!”
