, ‘The prosecution revealed on the 26th that as a result of a long-term investigation into the only domestic dark web drug sales specialized site, the number of users of the site decreased rapidly after prosecuting 16 individuals including sellers and droppers. The drug sellers and suppliers caught by the prosecution were in their 20s to 30s.’,

, ‘Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office’s Drug Crime Special Investigation Team (led by Kim Bo-sung, Director of the Strong Crime Investigation Division) concentrated on the dark web drug sales site from October last year to this month, arresting 12 individuals and indicting 4 individuals without detention. The prosecution also seized a total of drugs worth 1 billion 580 million won, including 4.4kg of marijuana, 4677ml of synthetic marijuana, 38 MDMA pills, 36g of cocaine, and 10g of ketamine.’,
,
, ‘There were 3,962 registered members on the site caught by the prosecution. The drug transactions were active with 13 seller groups operating. It was revealed that the site operated anonymously, where neither the operators, sellers, nor buyers knew each other’s identities. The operators received a registration fee of 1.5 million won in virtual currency to register the sellers, who then posted drug sales advertisements on the site. When a buyer placed an order for drugs, the operator passed on the order and payment details to the seller, who provided the buyers with the location (coordinates) where the drugs were hidden, using a method called ‘dropping.’,

, ‘Most of the drug sellers and suppliers caught by the prosecution were men in their 20s to 30s. Only one person in his 50s was in charge of cultivating marijuana. They were active in a total of 6 seller groups. The sellers in these groups mainly sourced drugs from domestic suppliers, but two groups were also involved in smuggling drugs internationally. The drugs they imported included 5000ml of synthetic marijuana, 1793g of marijuana, 78 liquid marijuana cartridges, 43g of cocaine, 47 MDMA pills, 2100g of psilocybin chocolates, totaling around 90 million won. Additionally, 3 groups directly cultivated marijuana in residential areas and produced liquid marijuana.’,
