Lee Im-saeng, a director of the Football Association, is accused related to the appointment of coach Hong Myung-bo.

A controversy has arisen surrounding the appointment of Hong Myung-bo as the head coach of the national football team, leading to Im Yim-saeng, the technical director of the Korea Football Association, facing a police investigation.

According to the Seoul Jongno Police Station, they have received a report against Im Yim-saeng and are investigating him for obstruction of business. The report alleges that Im Yim-saeng violated the association’s regulations and the national team’s operating rules by appointing Hong Myung-bo as the head coach, essentially constituting an act of improper hiring.
