“Jindo Dog Diagnosed with Orbital Fracture after Being Assaulted with a Blunt Instrument” – Police Investigate Animal Abuse Charges

A report has been filed regarding an incident in Yeoju where a Jindo dog, raised in the area, was allegedly abused with a blunt object, prompting police to track down the suspect. According to the Yeoju Police Station, on the 13th, the owner discovered a 2-year-old Jindo dog bleeding from the head in a residential housing complex in Yeoju. It was determined that the dog’s head had multiple wounds, likely inflicted by a blunt object. The owner immediately took the dog to a veterinarian, who indicated that the injuries appeared to be from a tool like a shovel. The following day, the owner reported the incident to the police, and the dog was diagnosed with an orbital fracture. The police suspect animal abuse and are currently investigating by reviewing nearby CCTV footage to track the suspect.
