Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Launches ‘Gyeonggi Tour Pass’, the Ultimate Value-for-Money Travel Package

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it would start selling the “Gyeonggi Tour Pass,” a comprehensive access pass for Gyeonggi tourism, starting from April 21. This release is more than a month earlier than last year to align with the high travel demand during May’s golden holiday (May 3-6) and Family Month.

The “Gyeonggi Tour Pass” offers various options including a 24-hour pass (19,900 KRW), 48-hour pass (25,900 KRW), and 72-hour pass (35,900 KRW). Once purchased, the pass enables unrestricted access to 100 key tourist attractions and facilities in Gyeonggi, such as cultural sites, experience centers, and cafes.

A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization expressed that the Gyeonggi Tour Pass provides a highly value-for-money travel option, allowing people to enjoy a wide array of tourist destinations. The organization hopes that during the May holidays, families, friends, and couples will use this pass to create joyful and memorable experiences at a reasonable price.

Some of the major tourist facilities included are Petite France in Gapyeong, Anseong Farm Land, Herb Island in Pocheon, and the Imjingak Peace Gondola in Paju. This year, new attractions such as the First Garden in Paju, the Dokgae Bridge in Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, and the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum in Gwangju have been added to the lineup.

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization plans to increase participating facilities to 200 by continually adding new attractions like Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, the Jarasum Flower Festa in Gapyeong, and Wave Park in Siheung. The Gyeonggi Tour Pass will be available gradually on platforms such as Naver, Coupang, Timon, WeMakePrice, Here, and Yanolja, with detailed information available on the official Gyeonggi Tour Pass website.

Cho Won-yong, the president of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, mentioned that the pass is an attractive smart travel solution for family travelers aged 20 to 50 and the MZ generation, as it economically facilitates visits to multiple attractions with a single ticket.
