**Found Dead in Firearm Testing Space
SNT Motiv Halts Production Until the 28th**
An employee involved in firearm development at defense contractor SNT Motiv was found dead with a gunshot wound.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at approximately 8:35 AM on the 25th, a male employee in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, was discovered lying in a pool of blood at SNT Motiv’s facility in Cheolma-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan.
A colleague discovered Mr. A upon arriving for work that morning and reported it to emergency services. Paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed Mr. A’s death and handed the case over to the police.
The location where Mr. A was found was not the firearm production line but rather a testing space for developed firearms, reportedly containing numerous firearms. It appears Mr. A remained at the company and did not leave after work the previous day.
SNT Motiv announced that due to the fatal incident, production would be halted until the 28th. The company stated, “We are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident and will resolve it promptly.”
The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances, including the possibility that Mr. A may have taken his own life.
