Trump Withdraws from Paris Climate Accord Again… Cancels ‘Cuba’s Removal from State Sponsors of Terrorism’ (Summary)

“Climate Change Agreement is Unfair, US Rip-off”… 1,500 Pardoned Related to Jan 6 Riot

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, signed executive orders, including re-withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, in front of supporters on the 20th (local time).

President Trump visited the ‘Capital One Arena’, an indoor stadium where supporters gathered, after the indoor inauguration ceremony held at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC, and signed executive orders amid applause from the supporters.

The first executive order he signed was to repeal 78 actions taken during the Biden administration, including executive orders.

He also signed orders freezing government regulations and hiring until the Trump administration fully secures control over the executive branch.

In his speech right before the signing, President Trump labeled previous government actions as “destructive and radical,” explaining his reason for cancellation.

He also signed directives on ▲ Full response to inflation by government agencies ▲ Withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement and sending a withdrawal letter to the UN ▲ Prohibition of government censorship and restoration of press freedom ▲ Ending the government’s weaponization against opponents.

While signing, President Trump asked supporters, “Can you imagine Biden doing this?” causing them to chant “USA”.

After completing the signing, he tossed several pens used for the signatures into the crowd of supporters.

During the signing, supporters cheered and applauded loudly.

In his speech before signing, regarding those punished related to the January 6 Capitol riot, Trump stated, “I will sign pardons for the J6 hostages today,” indicating he would grant pardons to a large number of people.

Later, he moved to the White House and signed executive orders pardoning 1,500 individuals related to the January 6 incident and commuting sentences for six others.

Regarding the Paris Climate Agreement, he said, “I will immediately withdraw from the unfair and one-sided Paris Climate Agreement ripoff.”

He added that China continues to emit pollutants that reach the US, stating, “It’s pointless unless everyone does it together. We will no longer sabotage our industries.”

Previously, during his first term in 2017, Trump had withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement, and upon Biden’s rejoining in 2021, he has now withdrawn again.

Before his speech, President Trump greeted the families of Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas on stage.

He remarked on the war between Israel and Hamas, saying, “It should never have happened, and it wouldn’t have if I were President.”

Trump also criticized wind power, stating, “We won’t do wind power,” calling it the most expensive energy form and adding, “Besides, it’s all from China.”

He reiterated that “thanks to tariffs, you will see many companies returning.”

President Trump commented during the speech that Joe Biden granted pardons to his family just before his resignation, questioning, “Can you even imagine?”

He mentioned that his inaugural address was “inclusive,” and noted that staff supposedly advised him not to mention Biden’s family pardons or the J6 hostages in the speech.

Meanwhile, Trump, according to Reuters citing the White House, has reversed the Biden administration’s move to remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

He also reportedly canceled measures such as the ban on new oil and gas development along the US coastlines of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf of Mexico, as well as sanctions against far-right Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
