“Donald Trump, the President of the United States, criticized the election of Zoran Mamdani, a figure symbolizing the progressive forces within the Democratic Party, as mayor of New York, calling it a Democratic attempt to ‘communize America.’
Speaking at the America Business Forum in Miami, Florida, President Trump stated, ‘If you want to know what the congressional Democrats want to do to America, just look at yesterday’s New York City election results. The Democrats have seated a communist as the mayor of the largest city in the country.’
He added, ‘As I have warned for years, our enemies are determined to turn America into communist Cuba or socialist Venezuela. Miami will soon become a refuge for those fleeing New York City’s communism.’
Miami, located in the southern part of the United States, is close to Cuba and has been a settlement for many Cuban refugees who crossed the sea to escape the regime.
President Trump emphasized, ‘We must choose between communism and common sense. As long as I am in the White House, America will not be communized in any form, shape, or type. We will prevent it.’
On the first anniversary of his election victory, President Trump spent a significant amount of time highlighting his accomplishments at the event.
The White House also distributed materials detailing the promises President Trump has fulfilled.”
