A magnitude 6.4 earthquake strikes again in the waters off the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a magnitude 6.4 earthquake occurred at 2:47 pm that day, in the sea 341 km south of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia.

The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky earthquake report also conveyed via Telegram that a magnitude 6.5 earthquake occurred in the sea 381 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The depth of the epicenter is 67.7 km.

Previously, a massive earthquake with a magnitude of 8.8 occurred in the eastern waters of the Russian Far East Kamchatka Peninsula, triggering tsunamis that affected North America, Alaska, and Hawaii.
