Netmarble Unveils New Trailer for ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’ at Global Game Show

Netmarble announced on the 9th that it participated in the global game shows, ‘Summer Game Fest’ and ‘Future Games Show,’ held on the 6th and 7th, respectively. They unveiled a new trailer for their open-world RPG, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.’ Each game show featured different versions of the trailer, both consistently showcasing the game’s world, characters, and key open-world elements. The trailer revealed the in-game appearances of main characters from the original series, including Tristan, Meliodas, Ban, King, and Merlin.

Additionally, the trailer introduced the battle scenes with demons and golems, highlighting the skills and combat style in ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.’ It showcased various regions of Britannia, along with lifestyle content like fishing and cooking, hinting at a deep gameplay experience in this open-world RPG.

Netmarble began pre-registration for ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’ on the 4th. Interested players can enter their phone numbers on the brand’s website to register. Registered users will receive in-game benefits and a chance to participate in a confidential beta test.

Scheduled for release within the year, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin’ is an open-world collectible RPG based on the ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ IP, which has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. The game features an original multiverse story available only in the game, centered around the son of the original protagonists, Meliodas and Elizabeth, named Tristan.
