[Financial News] Triplela, a subsidiary of Neptune, announced on the 19th that its self-developed mobile idle management simulation game ‘Cat Office’ has surpassed 20 billion won in cumulative sales and 8 million downloads globally, just six months after its launch.

Within six months of launch, the game achieved a peak Daily Active Users (DAU) of over 300,000, and has maintained an average DAU of around 250,000 since July. In terms of sales, the distribution is approximately 35% from the U.S., 20% from Korea, and 14% from Japan, with these three countries accounting for nearly 70% of the total revenue.

According to Google Play Store metrics, ‘Cat Office’ ranked first in the simulation game category in Korea, second in Japan, and fourth in the U.S. On the Apple App Store, it was ranked among the top 10 popular games in the simulation genre across 20 countries.

‘Cat Office’ is a game where players customize various offices and manage cat employees to grow their business. The objective is to become the wealthiest through effective management and strategy. The game incorporates idle production methods, allowing revenue generation even when players are offline, thereby ensuring continuous business growth. It offers an intuitive and accessible interface that allows players of all ages to enjoy the game without difficulty.

Kang Seok, the CPO of Triplela, stated, “Given the significant revenue share from the U.S., we plan to undertake localization efforts to reach more users in that country, based on a foundation of stable revenue generation.”
