**NC AI Unveils New AI Avatar Technology ‘AvatarShift’ at MWC**
[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Oh Dong-hyun – NCSoft’s AI business division, NC AI, announced plans to expand its global operations following a successful showcase of its generative AI technology at ‘MWC 2025.’
NC AI successfully completed its participation in the world’s largest mobile communications exhibition, “MWC 2025,” held in Barcelona, Spain, as of the 11th.
At MWC 2025, NC AI unveiled an experiential demo called ‘AvatarShift,’ which combines technologies such as avatar creation through photos, AI text-to-speech (TTS) that can express emotions, and voice-based facial animation generation. Visitors had the opportunity to create AI avatars using their voices and faces and experience AI technology that expresses emotions.
Approximately 1,000 visitors attended the NC AI booth during the event, including notable political figures and representatives from various global IT, financial, and entertainment companies who experienced NC AI’s technology firsthand.
Leveraging its participation in MWC 2025, NC AI plans to expand into global fashion, media, and content markets. It also aims to provide customized AI solutions across various industries while strengthening its SaaS (Software as a Service) business model.
