Naver is expanding the integration of external CRM services such as ‘Dodo Point’ and ‘Payhere’ through its platform. This expansion allows consumers to view and utilize store discounts and point accrual benefits directly via Naver Place and Naver Map, without having to switch to separate apps. The aim is to streamline the customer journey from store discovery to reservation, payment, and review, thus enhancing competitiveness in securing loyal customers.
Naver announced on the 14th that it is supporting the integration of membership features for CRM services ‘Dodo Point’, ‘Payhere’, and ‘OK POS’ through Smart Place. Previously, membership benefits at stores were often managed via external CRM services, requiring consumers to use separate apps or membership systems. With this integration, consumers can now easily view membership discounts, point accumulations, and exclusive benefits for members directly when searching or making reservations for restaurants, cafes, and salons on Naver Place and Naver Map.
Membership-exclusive coupons are prominently displayed on Naver Place store pages, allowing consumers to download and use them immediately, while managing specific membership and benefit information for each business in MY Place. Naver reports that one in four users who downloaded a membership-exclusive coupon from the store page actually used it during the payment process.
Additionally, Naver is expanding its integration with franchise brands, having started membership system integration with ‘Isaac Toast’ in February and planning to broaden the scope of partnerships in the future. Moreover, the functionalities of the payment terminal ‘Naver Pay Connect’ are being enhanced, supporting features currently like ordering, payment, review creation, and point accumulation, with plans to add membership enrollment and stamp coupon functionalities.
