LG Uplus unveiled a new brand slogan ‘Growth Leading AX Company’ on the 19th. It signifies a company that leads customer growth through AI transformation (AX). The company stated, “By accelerating innovation around AX, we aim to lead customer growth and drive our own growth.”
On the 17th, LG Uplus held an online performance sharing session to communicate the future business direction and plans with its employees. CEO Hwang Hyun-sik mentioned, “We created a new brand slogan with the meaning of becoming a company that leads digital innovation by focusing on DX (Digital Transformation) using AI.”
He explained, “Growth Leading is a reinterpretation of our vision ‘Enjoyable changes in customers’ daily lives’ to fit the current era.” He added, “The value that the MZ generation customers enjoy the most is growth, and growth is also the main focus for corporate customers (B2B). We incorporated the meaning of leading and driving this into the slogan.”
To grow as an AX company, the key keywords highlighted include ‘organizational imagination’ that enables envisioning changes in customers’ lives collectively, ‘speed’ for rapid execution, and ‘organizational culture’ for collaborating as one team to achieve this.
LG Uplus has been carrying out brand campaigns avoiding technical terms like ‘changing customers’ daily lives’ and ‘Why Not?’. The company emphasized the importance of AI for customer experience innovation by directly expressing technologies like AX in the new slogan. The use of the phrase ‘Growth Leading’ demonstrates the company’s determination to lead market changes.
Additionally, LG Uplus shared the financial performance of the first quarter and business unit performances and plans on that day. LG Uplus’s Sung Jun-hyun, AI·Data Product Director (Executive Vice President) responsible for the AI division, explained that the goal is to apply AI to all business areas and tasks. He outlined four key tasks, including AICC for customer centers, B2B AICC, AI agents (assistants) for mobile services, and Work Agents for employees.
