LG Uplus announced on the 26th that it will supply ‘Home Closed Circuit (CC) TV’ to 50 households in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province with elementary school children. This is part of the ‘2024 Social Environment Issue Support Project’ organized by the Gyeonggi Social Economy Institute, and it is being carried out through collaboration between LG Uplus and the educational community cooperative, Woori-Nuri Social Cooperative.
LG Uplus decided to provide home CCTV due to concerns about the emergence of blind spots in childcare for elementary school children in the situation of increasing dual-income households.
Woori-Nuri Social Cooperative will develop on-site education content centered around the community and arrange childcare teachers.
LG Uplus and Woori-Nuri Social Cooperative plan to expand into humanities and arts content in the future and also develop regionally connected childcare services.
