Continuing Collaboration as a Practical Business Partner, “[Edaily Reporter Kim Se-yeon] AIM Intelligence, a company specializing in AI security, announced on the 10th that it has secured strategic investments from LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor Group’s ZER01NE Ventures, and Naver D2SF.”
This investment comes just a month after AIM Intelligence completed its Series A round led by Samsung Venture Investment. Major corporations seem to be recognizing the importance of AI security and are actively investing in the field.
These companies are not just stopping at investments but are also continuing their collaboration with AIM Intelligence.
Firstly, AIM Intelligence is jointly researching and developing security solutions for physical AI with LG Electronics. Through collaboration on AI security technologies such as response safety, privacy protection, abnormal command blocking, and malfunction prevention, they expect to create synergies. With AI services directly linked to customers’ living spaces—like smart homes and home robots—rapidly expanding, they anticipate significant synergies.
Hyundai Motor Group participated in the investment, foreseeing that the importance of mobility and AI-related stability and operation management may grow.
Naver D2SF’s involvement demonstrates the increasing demand for AI security in platform and commerce areas. As generative AI expands across search, content, commerce, cloud, and payment flows, the need for a security layer to prevent policy violations, payment abuse, malicious prompt attacks, and data leakage is becoming increasingly important.
Based on this collaborative foundation with its strategic investors, AIM Intelligence plans to expand its supply cases in key domestic industries and actively enter the global market in the future.
Yoo Sang-yoon, CEO of AIM Intelligence, said, “As AI enters areas beyond work tools to payment platforms, vehicles, and robot operations, AI security is becoming an issue of industrial infrastructure.” He added, “This strategic investment illustrates that the necessity of AI security is being addressed as a practical business task in major industrial sites. AIM Intelligence aims to grow as an AI security infrastructure company that supports the safe development, verification, and operation of generative AI, agent AI, and physical AI.”
Meanwhile, AIM Intelligence develops security solutions to detect and block AI vulnerabilities, supplying them to industrial sites. It has been providing AI security models to over 20 corporate clients, both domestically and internationally, in various fields such as finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, and the public sector.
