Last Year, 68% of Companies with CSAP Certification Chose Naver Cloud
Program to Support SaaS Ecosystem Development
According to Naver Cloud on the 12th, about 68% of companies that received Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) security certification (CSAP) in Korea last year selected their services.
For software companies to enter the public market, obtaining SaaS CSAP certification is crucial. This certification must be built on cloud infrastructure that has obtained Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) CSAP certification.
In response, Naver Cloud provided a support system for SaaS companies to acquire certification, accumulated experience and references in the public sector, and has positioned itself as a trusted partner for entry into the public market, the company emphasized.
Particularly, Naver Cloud has enhanced stability by offering a physically separated network environment and global-level security certification. To assist companies struggling with lack of experience or complex certification procedures, they operate a ‘Public SaaS Security Certification Support Program’ utilizing their expertise and know-how.
Through this program, companies can receive infrastructure support worth about 5 million KRW, allowing them to use computing, storage, and database services for public institutions. They also receive expert consulting and detailed guidebooks for preparing for the certification review.
An example is “Modusign,” an electronic signature service company that successfully obtained CSAP certification through Naver Cloud’s support program. After launching the Modusign public solution, the number of clients in the public sector surged.
As the public cloud market grows, the entry of SaaS companies into the public market is accelerating. According to the digital service support system, the scale of public SaaS contracts last year reached approximately 7.59 billion KRW, more than double from the previous year.
