The presidential office reported that President Yoon has been staying at Jinhae Naval Base for two days, encouraging soldiers and having dinner with veterans from the Cheonan ship sinking incident. President Yoon emphasized that a robust national security posture not only protects South Korea from North Korea but also contributes to the economy, highlighting the connection between national security and the economy. He also participated in sports activities with the soldiers while wearing a t-shirt with the logo of the Cheonan ship. Meanwhile, First Lady Kim Geon-hee, who is on vacation with the President, had separate undisclosed schedules visiting local product development companies in Busan and other places.
