Professor Lee Soo-jung stated, “Even if there is impeachment, the National Election Commission must be investigated thoroughly”… Lee Jun-seok responds, “Delusional.”

[Herald Economy=Kim Bo-young] Professor Lee Soo-jung from the Department of Criminal Psychology at Kyonggi University has disclosed the contents of a rumor circulating in political circles, lending weight to President Yoon Suk-yeol’s public statement concerning allegations of election fraud. In response, Lee Jun-seok, a member of the Reform New Party, severely criticized her, saying, “Appearing on TV to analyze others’ psychology is delusional.”

On the 13th, through her Facebook post, Professor Lee said, “Even if impeachment proceeds, the National Election Commission must be investigated thoroughly,” sharing a text that seems to have been widely circulated in political circles after President Yoon’s public statement. She added, “It’s necessary to verify if the information below is fake news.”

The text released by Professor Lee is a so-called “received message” that has been circulating in Yeouido as a rumor. It begins with the words “shocking and startling” and raises allegations related to the National Election Commission.

The message notes, “On the 12th, President Yoon Suk-yeol admitted in his national address that he was greatly shocked. It was found that the company responsible for managing the servers of the Central Election Commission, the core of the democratic political management in Korea, was a very small SME (small and medium-sized enterprise).”

It continues, “One may question if the concern arises merely because it’s an SME, but the reality is even more shocking. According to Kang Shin-up, who revealed this on his YouTube broadcast, the parent company of this SME is the Ssangbangwool group, which allegedly funded Lee Jae-myung’s financial transactions with North Korea.”

The text further adds, “In such a structure, who wouldn’t suspect a connection between Lee Jae-myung’s operations with North Korea via Ssangbangwool and the management of the Central Election Commission’s servers? It is indeed something that could shock and astonish the public.”

Representative Lee Jun-seok shared Professor Lee’s post and criticized her harshly. He commented, “We decided not to include you in the campaign committee at the presidential election, but you are still being brought back and doing this.” He warned, “Conservatives will never win any elections in the future if they don’t eliminate people like this. She appears on TV as a criminal psychologist to analyze others’ psychology, but she is delusional herself.”

He also mentioned, “If you gather 1 billion KRW as a debate fee and bring it to me, I will organize an unlimited live debate for up to 24 hours.” He added, “This is the last chance to save the Yoon Seok-youl administration in crisis and a good opportunity to eradicate the pro-North Korean forces and deal with the Election Commission.”

Meanwhile, the previous day, President Yoon, in his public statement, justified the deployment of military forces to the Election Commission as necessary for checking their IT systems, strongly suggesting election fraud. He stated, “It was possible for a National Intelligence Service staff to attempt hacking, data manipulation was quite feasible, and there was practically no firewall.” He further criticized, “The passwords were so simple, like ‘12345’. The company responsible for system security management was a very small one, lacking expertise.”

President Yoon stated, “I was shocked after receiving the report from the National Intelligence Service,” questioning, “How can the public trust the election results when the IT systems managing the election, the core of democracy, are so inadequate?” He further mentioned, “The Election Commission is a constitutional body with judiciary members, making search and seizure or forced investigation practically impossible without warrants. If they don’t cooperate, uncovering the truth is impossible.”
