President Yoon Suk-yeol reviewed the appointment of 7 KBS directors recommended by the Korea Communications Commission last night (31st), the presidential office announced today.
Previously, the Korea Communications Commission held a plenary session late yesterday afternoon and passed a recommendation to appoint 7 KBS directors to the president.
The current directors, Seo Gi-seok and Kwon Sun-beom, were reappointed, and Ryu Hyeon-soon, former director of the Korea Institute of Broadcasting Promotion, Lee Geon, vice president of a women’s newspaper company, Lee In-cheol, a lawyer, Heo Yeop, vice-chairman of the Video Rating Committee, and Hwang Seong-uk, former permanent member of the Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee, were newly appointed.
