Kim Young-min becomes a triple medalist by adding one bronze at the World Military Games… The national team finishes with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

At the 2025 Invictus Games held in Canada, athlete Kim Young-min, representing injured veterans, won a bronze medal in the men’s 4-minute endurance indoor rowing event. The competition took place on the 16th (local time) at a special venue in the Vancouver Convention Center. Kim was seen joyfully wearing his medal. This marks his third medal at the games, following a gold in wheelchair curling and a bronze in alpine skiing.

On the final day of the competition, the South Korean team added one more bronze to their tally. Kim Young-min (53) secured third place in the men’s 4-minute endurance category, covering a distance of 833 meters. He was 33 meters behind the first-place winner, Andrew Allen from the UK.

The Korean team ended the games with a total of one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. Kim expressed gratitude to the Invictus Games Foundation (IGF) and the Korean Veterans Association, stating, “I am very pleased to have gained confidence and the courage to do anything through this Invictus Games.”

Kim also hoped for more opportunities for injured veterans to participate in global events like the Invictus Games.
