Cho Kuk: “Is there something to hide for Na Kyung-won, Yoon’s ‘younger sister’, and Han Dong-hoon, Yoon’s ‘subordinate’? Active politicians do not have the right to remain silent.”

[FNN] Cho Kuk, leader of the People’s Innovation Party, urged Nakgyeongwon, a member of the People Power Party, and Hwang Donghoon, former leader of the same party, to tell the truth, stating that “active politicians do not have the right to refuse to testify.”

On the 19th, Cho posted on his Facebook, stating, “Both Nakgyeongwon and Hwang Donghoon were ‘pro-Yoon’,” referring to them as “Yoon Seok-youl’s little sister” and “Yoon Seok-youl’s underling,” respectively.

He continued, “Both of them avoided investigations and indictments on their children’s cases thanks to the passive attitude of the prosecution. Then they parted ways due to the People’s Power Party’s presidential primary and the December 3 rebellion.”

Cho pointed out that “both are not defendants in court but public political figures, and they share the characteristic of not responding to or acting on very simple matters that the public and the media are very curious about.”

He criticized, “Both do not apologize for praising Prosecutor General and President Yoon Seok-youl. Nakgyeongwon, when asked if she went to the Unification Church’s Cheonjeong Palace, doesn’t say ‘I’ve never been there,’ but rather ‘I already said I won’t say more.’ Hwang Donghoon set a 20-plus digit password on his phone containing secrets about the Channel A incident and doesn’t unlock it.”

He further criticized, “Even with a fierce debate over who authored the anonymous posts on the party’s message board criticizing Yoon Seok-youl and Kim Geon-hee, Hwang does not say ‘it’s not my family,’ indicating there is something seriously suspicious.”

Cho emphasized, “While doing this, they aggressively criticize President Lee Jae-myung and the government. We must keep asking Nakgyeongwon, ‘Did you go to Cheonjeong Palace?’ and Hwang, ‘Is it your family?’ Active politicians do not have the right to refuse to testify.”
