Ahn Cheol-soo: “The greatest gift to Lee Jae-myung is South Korea… He should step down voluntarily.”

An Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, criticized former representative Han Dong-hoon, saying he should step down. An stated that Han is considered “the easiest opponent” for Lee Jae-myung and expressed concerns over Han becoming the party’s presidential candidate. An argued that because Han was a key figure under former President Yoon Seok-youl, the public would be hesitant due to his lack of political experience. An also mentioned that Han was instrumental in creating the major opposition party, the Democratic Party led by Lee Jae-myung, and criticized his decision to run for president without reflection. He called Han’s candidacy an obstacle to political innovation in South Korea and urged him to withdraw if he had any conscience.
