Welcoming Snow and Rain for the Wildfire… Tomorrow’s Daytime Temperatures to ‘Soar’

The whole country will be mostly cloudy, with rain or snow expected in most regions.

In the central region, the precipitation will be light, but in the southern region, up to 40mm is expected in Yeongnam and up to 30mm in Honam by tomorrow. Jeju Island is expected to have quite a bit of rain, ranging from 20 to 70mm until the day after tomorrow.

The expected snowfall amounts are up to 7cm in Gangwon-do and the Chungcheong and Honam regions, and more than 10cm in Yeongnam.

Particularly in the Yeongnam inland area, which has recently seen frequent wildfires, there is a possibility of heavy snow at a rate of 1 to 3cm per hour.

Tomorrow morning’s temperatures will range from -6°C to 7°C nationwide, with Seoul at -1°C, which is 2°C to 5°C lower than today.

However, daytime temperatures will rise significantly, reaching up to 15°C in Seoul and ranging from 9°C to 16°C across the country, which is up to 11°C warmer than today.

The sea waves will be high at 2 to 5 meters in the southern East Sea, the southern South Sea, and the offshore areas of the southern West Sea.
