Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi, is set to open a “K-Pop Demon Hunters” (K-Demon Hunters) theme zone on the 26th, riding on the global wave of K-pop popularity. Everland announced on the 24th that visitors will be able to experience the popular characters and universe of “Huntrix,” “Lion Boys,” and K-Food in vibrant and immersive ways through this theme zone created in collaboration with Netflix until the end of the year. The “Memory Carnival,” an escape room game popular among the MZ generation, will also open that day.
The standout feature of the K-Demon Hunters theme zone is its diverse experience areas. Visitors can engage with the stories of characters like “Huntrix” and “Lion Boys” through mission-based games and interactive photo zones.
In the “Huntrix” experience zone, participants can join airplane shooting games where characters “Lumi,” “Mira,” and “Joy” combat spirits onboard, and play whack-a-mole games to battle spirits trying to escape. The “Golden Performance Photo Zone” allows visitors to capture dazzling shots with a golden ring backdrop, similar to Lumi.
In the “Lion Boys” experience zone, activities include quickly matching lyrics of the Soda Pop original soundtrack (OST) and playing the ‘Soul Offering Game’ that involves rolling balls into goals within a time limit. An “Your Idol Performance Photo Zone” is also available.
Additional gimmicks include the “Unstable Challenge,” inspired by “Duffy,” where visitors have to right fallen flower pots, and a “Dance Rhythm Game,” stepping in time to hit song beats.
There is also a makeup and transformation experience area where visitors can draw unique patterns on their faces symbolizing the presence of strong spirits or wear reaper costumes to transform into “Lion Boys” characters. Unique photo zones, featuring character illustrations and life-sized cutouts, have been set up.
The “Everland of Oz” festival, which began on the 5th, is also ongoing and allows visitors to experience the Wizard of Oz universe through diverse sensory content until November 16.
