BMW Korea opens pre-orders for the completely redesigned 4th generation ‘New X3’…planned release at the end of the year.

BMW Korea will start pre-orders for the all-new 4th generation midsize sports utility vehicle (SUV) BMW New X3 on the 14th. The BMW X3, which has sold over 3.5 million units worldwide since its first generation was released in 2003, has emphasized sportiness with a sleek design of headlights and elongated roofline. Inside, features like the BMW Curved Display, Ambient Light, and Illuminated Air Vents are applied. The BMW Operating System 9 allows for intuitive control of vehicle functions through touch operations. By utilizing BMW’s Digital Premium, digital services such as air console games and third-party apps can also be accessed. High-demand driving assistance and convenience features are also provided as standard in all models of the BMW New X3, with driving assistance such as the Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus, along with premium specifications like the Panoramic Glass Roof.

The BMW New X3 lineup consists of the gasoline model New X3 20 xDrive, the diesel model New X3 20d xDrive, and the high-performance model New X3 M50 xDrive, all equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology. The New X3 20 xDrive is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 31.6 kgm, while the New X3 20d xDrive, with a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine, produces a maximum output of 197 horsepower and a maximum torque of 40.8 kgm. The high-performance model New X3 M50 xDrive is equipped with an M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 398 horsepower and a maximum torque of 59.1 kgm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

The estimated prices for the BMW New X3 lineup are expected to range from 68 million to 80.9 million won for the New X3 20 xDrive, 71.5 million to 79.5 million won for the New X3 20d xDrive, and between 98.5 million and 115 million won for the New X3 M50 xDrive, which will be released in a single trim. The BMW New X3 is planned to be officially launched in Korea by the end of this year, and pre-orders can be made through ‘BMW Shop Online’.
