“Five Electric Buses Land in Paraguay” … KGMC Commercial Achieves First Export of Electric Buses [Photo provided by KGMC]
KGMC announced on the 22nd that they are laying the foundation for the normalization of management by exporting a total of five completed electric buses for the first time.
The country to which KGMC is exporting for the first time is Paraguay in Central and South America, which is dominated by Chinese brands. In collaboration with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), KGMC will export five eco-friendly electric seat buses (SMART 110E). This export is part of the volume ordered by KATECH as part of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) project for the year 2024.
KATECH plans to continue its cooperation for national interests by not only stopping at exports, but also establishing an automotive parts center with KGMC in Paraguay, supporting eco-friendly automobile technology through the demonstration and operation of electric buses, and further cooperation.
