Actor and shaman Lee Geon-ju experiences an emotional moment as he reunites with his younger brother, who was adopted to France, after 44 years.
In the preview for the next episode of TV CHOSUN’s “Father and I,” aired on the 21st, Lee is seen traveling to France to meet his brother, who is two years younger than him. In the past, Lee had revealed that his aunt told him about his brother, who was adopted to France via a welfare agency right after birth. Expressing his anxiety, Lee mentions, “I’m not sure what will happen,” as he plans to meet his brother.
Lee confesses, “I’m curious about what he’s doing, if he’s eating well,” and admits he was afraid his brother might not want to meet him. At the meeting spot, Lee is seen waiting and shedding tears once he sees his brother approaching from afar. He embraces his brother in a heartfelt hug and tearfully apologizes, saying, “I’m sorry. I’ve really missed you.” His brother comforts him, gently patting his back, spreading warmth.
Previously, Lee met his mother for the first time in 44 years, unveiling a heartbreaking family story that moved viewers. His mother had expressed her longing, saying, “I’ve always wanted to see you, never have I forgotten you in my heart.” She shed tears, recalling the times she cried and smiled thinking of him.
Lee expressed his curiosity about her identity and likeness to him, admitting he knew nothing. His mother, fearing he thought she abandoned him, explained, “That’s not the case.
