On the TV Chosun show ‘Now I’m Alone’ that aired on July 16th, actor Lee Beom-soo and translator Lee Yoon-jin, who is currently in the process of divorce, shared about her life in Bali.
Lee Yoon-jin mentioned, “It’s been a year since Act 2 of my life started. I’ve been in Bali for 10 months. I wanted to show that living abroad after concluding a marriage is not escaping or running away, but rather a new challenge and a new way of living.”
She revealed, “I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia for a long time when I was young. I prepared diligently to become an announcer since university, and started my first job at a local MBC station in my fourth year. By chance, I became an English teacher for Lee Beom-soo and started working in the entertainment industry related to English. One day, a friend in the film industry introduced me to English lessons. I watched for a long time, and eventually fell in love and got married.”
Regarding her divorce, Lee Yoon-jin indirectly mentioned, “I never thought about becoming the family of a well-known person. When time passed, when I became a grandmother or grandfather, I couldn’t see the future.”
‘Now I’m Alone’, which airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m., is a real observation program that depicts the adaptation of people who have become alone in the world.
