Complainant A claimed that in the process of speaking on behalf of the family, Lawyer Bu either provided incorrect legal advice or was involved as a co-perpetrator in the execution of actions.

Previously, actor Kim Soo-hyun’s agency had filed a complaint against Kim Sae-ron’s family, a channel operator, and an individual claiming to be Kim Sae-ron’s aunt, referred to as B, on charges of violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of footage using cameras, etc.).

Complainant A stated, “Lawyer Bu went beyond mere consultation to actively propagate the family’s claims, using his status as a lawyer to make false information appear true,” adding, “There is a high potential for criticism given the misuse of responsibility and trust as a legal expert.”

Additionally, complainant A noted that Lawyer Bu used provocative terms like “grooming sexual crime” during press conferences, inflicting irreparable damage to Kim Soo-hyun’s reputation, leading to image damage, production delays of future works, and potential compensation claims.

Last month, on the 7th, the family of Kim Sae-ron held an urgent press conference, revealing evidence that Kim Soo-hyun had dated Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor. They also announced legal action against the indiscriminate spreading of false information concerning the family.
