On the 22nd, the YouTube channel “Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho” released a video titled “Shocking Exclusive! A 14-Year-Younger Remarrying Wife’s Revelation…The Reason BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Severed Ties with Her Brother.” In the video, Lee Jin-ho stated that Jisoo and her family have already cut ties with her brother, Mr. Kim, following a hidden camera scandal.
According to Lee Jin-ho, Jisoo did not have any interaction or support from her brother Kim, as mentioned in her agency’s statement. He explained, “In May 2025, a revelation about Jisoo’s brother’s hidden camera incident surfaced on the platform Blind. After that incident, Jisoo’s brother lost the trust of his family and Jisoo’s side, and they effectively severed ties.”
In a previous anonymous post on the employment community ‘Blind,’ a netizen accused Jisoo’s brother of filming their sexual relationship without consent and possessing illegal footage of other women. Following the incident, Lee Jin-ho revealed that Jisoo’s older brother changed his phone number and avoided communication, only using voice-talk apps.
Further, Lee Jin-ho addressed allegations that Jisoo received help from her brother in setting up her agency, saying, “Her brother helped as a family member, not as a company representative. If he were a representative, he would’ve received a salary or shares, but there is no such record. Jisoo preferred to be listed alone without including her brother’s name in any corporate documents.”
Despite this, there were suspicions because Mr. Kim’s name appeared in the ending credits of Netflix’s ‘Monthly Boyfriend,’ leading to speculation that they might still be working together. Lee Jin-ho clarified, “The series was filmed from October 2024 to May 2025, during which Kim temporarily represented Jisoo as her brother. After the hidden camera incident, Kim lost not only the trust of Jisoo but also that of his family, leading to his complete exclusion from Jisoo-related activities.”
Jisoo was reported to have demanded her brother’s name be removed from the ending credits, which was initially included based on materials compiled during production. Despite the high cost of re-editing finalized material, Jisoo paid to have her brother’s name excluded, further indicating their severed ties.
Jisoo’s brother, Mr. Kim, was arrested on April 15 on charges of forcibly molesting a female BJ (Broadcast Jockey) at his home. However, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office rejected the police’s request for an arrest warrant due to insufficient evidence. Subsequently, a woman claiming to be Kim’s wife accused him of domestic violence via social media.
Jisoo’s agency, Bliss Entertainment, clarified on April 20, “The issues currently raised have no connection with our artist or Bliss. In the process of preparing for the establishment of Bliss, the artist received some limited advice and communication from family members for coordination with stakeholders, but no family member has received compensation or participated in decision-making at Bliss. The agency has been entirely independent and managed separately from family members subsequently.”
