Ji Ye-eun to take over 3 weeks off due to health reasons.

Actress Ji Ye-eun (31) is taking a break for health reasons.

On the 26th, an entertainment industry insider told MyDaily that Ji Ye-eun needed some time off. After consulting with doctors, she’s scheduled to rest for more than three weeks from September to October.

Ji Ye-eun recently noticed her health wasn’t good and visited a hospital. The hospital advised her to take a short break to recharge and recover, leading to her decision to take some time off.

A close associate of Ji Ye-eun mentioned that though she isn’t in serious condition, there’s no need for concern. She has been continuously active for several years, leading to accumulated fatigue. The break will help her recharge and return with a bright appearance. She has been worried about possibly affecting programs due to her break.

There have been speculations about her sudden weight loss, with some suggesting health problems, but a representative explained that it was due to successful weight management. Another insider stated that she lost weight through an intermittent fasting regimen, maintaining a 16-hour fasting window, along with 30 minutes of walking or stretching exercises daily. The accumulated fatigue and lack of exercise made this diet regimen necessary.

Ji Ye-eun, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, gained recognition through ‘SNL Korea,’ showcasing her exceptional acting skills through various characters. She is well-loved in various entertainment shows for her unique sense of humor and charm.

The KBS 2TV show ‘Crazy Rich Koreans’ recently concluded in mid-August. Currently, she is appearing on SBS’s ‘Running Man’ and Coupang Play’s ‘Office Workers.’ Although she rose to fame as a variety show star, she is also seen as a valuable figure in the advertising industry, known for her approachable image that offers comfort to consumers. She is actively working as a model for financial, sports, health food, and beauty brands.
