Actor Yoon Seok-hwa passed away at the age of 69 after battling a brain tumor. Yoon Seok-hwa departed this world at 9:50 AM on the 19th at Seoul Sinchon Severance Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Initially, the Korea Theater Actors Association had announced via a press release around 5 AM that Yoon Seok-hwa had passed away at approximately 9 PM on the 18th, but later clarified that this was incorrect. The association stated, “We deeply apologize for causing confusion due to not verifying the facts accurately and sincerely apologize to the family and fans who cared for the actor.” Despite the correction, Yoon Seok-hwa could not overcome her illness and passed away on that day.
