[Sports Korea Reporter Shin Young-sun] Lawyer Yang So-young commented on Yulhee’s divorce.
On divorce specialist lawyer Yang So-young’s YouTube channel ‘Yang Damsu’, a video titled ‘The real reason Yulhee started a custody lawsuit, can she bring her three children?’ was released.
Lawyer Yang said, “I took on Yulhee’s case. The agency contacted us first and asked, ‘Is it possible to change the custodian?’ There is a possibility, and it may not be possible. However, I advised that it would be good to try the lawsuit,” she said.
She then explained the litigation situation of Yulhee and Choi Min-hwan. Lawyer Yang said, “When deciding the custodian during the divorce, it seemed more like not deciding on Choi Min-hwan as the guardian but that Yulhee would take the children soon. I thought there was a fair chance of winning.”
She continued, “Even after the divorce, seeing how she has been involved in meeting arrangements with the children and caring for them, Yulhee appears to be almost the primary caretaker. The children were not entirely separated from her, so even if Yulhee is designated as the custodian, I don’t think there would be significant changes for the children,” she added.
Meanwhile, former LABOUM member Yulhee and FT Island member Choi Min-hwan got married in 2018 and have one son and twin daughters but divorced in December last year. Yulhee filed an adjustment application for custodian change, alimony, and property division at the Seoul Family Court on the 4th.
