On the 10th, in a preview video for MBN’s ‘Considering Divorce at Least Once’, Myung Seo-hyun shared, “About four months into our relationship, my mother-in-law asked me to come greet her, so I immediately went to Japan,” and said, “When I went in to greet her, her first words were ‘Dae-se is rising up.'”
Myung Seo-hyun said, “I was so scared, thinking, ‘What does she want from me without Dae-se?'” She added, “Her first questions were ‘Why do you like Dae-se?’ and ‘If you two get married, I will manage the living expenses,’ and she asked personal questions like ‘What is your height? What is your weight?'”

Myung Seo-hyun said, “I was so scared, and I can’t forget that look in her eyes. I kneeled down and talked with my mother-in-law for 2 hours,” and she said, “I had so many thoughts like ‘Will I be able to handle this?'”
Hearing this in the studio, Jung Dae-se expressed his surprise, saying, “This is the first time I’m hearing about this. I thought she would naturally say good things.” He was astonished.
Myung Seo-hyun continued, “At first, I think I was a bit naive. I thought, ‘I have to do really well, if I show my effort, my mother-in-law will understand and accept me a bit as her daughter-in-law,’ but it wasn’t easy.”
Prior to this, Myung Seo-hyun revealed on the show that she even took antidepressants due to the severe conflict with her in-laws, saying, “Because living with in-laws was so harsh, instead of thinking ‘I want to die,’ I was thinking ‘even if I fell from the second floor, I won’t die.'” She confessed.
Meanwhile, Jung Dae-se married Myung Seo-hyun, a former flight attendant, in 2013, and they have a son and a daughter.
