Meanwhile, Choi Yeo-jin announced her marriage to Kim Jae-wook, a sports businessman seven years her senior, last month. The couple is set to have their wedding in June.
However, it was revealed that Choi Yeo-jin had appeared on tvN’s “On & Off” in 2020 alongside her fiancé Kim Jae-wook and his ex-wife, leading to adultery allegations. At the time, Choi Yeo-jin introduced Kim Jae-wook and his ex-wife as “like parents to me, family with whom I share three meals” rather than as a romantic partner.
The public criticized by saying, “Marrying a man you said was like your father,” and “Is it possible to live with his ex-wife like this?” raising suspicions of adultery. In response, the ex-wife appeared on SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny” and clarified, “The adultery rumors are not true,” putting the controversy to rest.
On the April 7th episode of “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2,” Choi Yeo-jin was shown visiting a residential welfare center with her fiancé to fill out a marriage registration form. She exhibited a determined attitude, telling Kim Jae-wook, who hesitated to complete the form, “We’re going to get married anyway, so let’s start with the paperwork. I don’t like hearing more noise.”
