Actor Byun Woo-seok’s advertising model fee is approaching 1 billion won, making him one of the highest-paid in the industry.
According to OSEN’s report on the 15th, Byun Woo-seok’s advertising model fee is known to be approaching 1 billion won annually, ranking him among the top stars in the domestic advertising industry.
Byun Woo-seok rose to stardom with the tvN drama “Escape Holding Sunjae,” which concluded last May. He has become a popular figure in the TV commercial and advertising industry, receiving numerous offers. Currently, he represents about 19 brands, and his life has drastically changed overnight.
Although Byun Woo-seok has had a relatively short career and lacks big hits beyond “Escape Holding Sunjae,” many brands have chosen him for one-year contracts with fees exceeding 900 million won. This indicates his status as a top star and his significant advertising impact. In the advertising industry, if a star’s value is perceived as declining, they are often not offered such deals in the first place.
An example of Byun Woo-seok’s advertising power is demonstrated by Kyochon Chicken’s decision to hire him as a model. After being overtaken by BHC and BBQ in the market, they turned to star marketing strategies, selecting Byun Woo-seok for his appeal.
However, a source noted that not all advertising contracts reach 1 billion won, and fees may vary based on conditions. Nonetheless, Byun Woo-seok earns at least 700 million won from each deal.
Other top male stars with similar advertising fees include Park Bo-gum, Kim Soo-hyun, and Cha Eun-woo.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Byun Woo-seok quietly donated 300 million won to Severance Hospital for pediatric patients, a personal act of charity separate from his agency that has garnered attention.
