“Will enhance the capacity to respond to the cyber world for adolescents”

**Jang Deok-hyeon, President of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, at the ‘4th Blue Elephant Forum’**

Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on the 7th that it hosted the ‘4th Blue Elephant Forum’ on the 6th at the Samsung Financial Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The forum aimed to discuss strategies for preventing cyberbullying and to present the achievements of the Blue Elephant project.

The ‘Blue Elephant’ project, which began in 2020, focuses on cultivating pro-social skills such as honesty, promise-keeping, forgiveness, responsibility, and consideration in youth. It also supports the healing of students who have experienced cyberbullying.

The project, led by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, involves participation from Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung SDS, Samsung Biologics, and Samsung Bioepis. Government and private institutions, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the National Police Agency, and the Community Chest of Korea, are also involved.

At the forum, Jang Deok-hyeon, president of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, stated, “Samsung initiated the Blue Elephant project with the hope that youth develop the skills to navigate the cyber world and grow safely. We will continue to work with the government and civic groups to prevent and mitigate cyberbullying among youth.”
