Specifically, the MINI Aceman scored 7.7 out of 10 in the categories of safety and convenience features, and energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions, while achieving a score of 7 in design quality and marketability.

Jung Chi-yeon, the head of the association’s Car of the Year Selection Committee, praised the MINI Aceman as the first compact electric SUV expressing MINI’s unique charm and playfulness. He noted its innovative design, spacious interior, and versatile functionality, highlighting the 9.4-inch circular OLED display for its clear picture quality and quick responsiveness, offering a smartphone-like user experience.
