Lotte Mart is set to innovate its food business with smart solutions, launching the grocery app ‘Zetta’ next year.

Lotte Mart and Super announced on the 6th that they will launch a food-specialized app called ‘Lotte Mart Zeta’ in the first half of next year, aiming to strengthen their online grocery business.

The company revealed these plans during the ‘2025 Partners Day’ event held on the 5th of November at Lotte World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The launch of Lotte Mart Zeta is a part of their ongoing preparations to expand their online grocery business. Lotte Mart and Super plan to operate the Busan Advanced Logistics Center (CFC), equipped with the Ocado Smart Platform, by the first quarter of 2026. They also unveiled plans to expand the number of CFCs to six nationwide by 2032 to secure a strong position in the online food market.

The Partners Day event, now in its third year, is an occasion to express gratitude to partner companies for their business achievements over the year and to share strategies for the upcoming year. During this event, Lotte Mart outlined their objectives to achieve both quantitative and qualitative growth through new store openings, including the Guri and Cheonho locations, and renovations into grocery-specialized stores.

Lotte Super also plans to expand its franchise business to enhance profitability. Lotte Mart explained that they will introduce a new franchise model within the year. Kang Seong-hyun, CEO of Lotte Mart and Super, stated, “Following last year’s integration of the mart and super, and last month’s incorporation of the e-commerce unit’s ‘e-grocery business division,’ we have transformed into a unified online-offline retail company.”
