Kumho Construction Holds ’10th Concert with Kumho Construction’ with Singer-Songwriter ‘Binchae’

Kumho Construction announced on the 17th that it held the 10th “Concert with Kumho Construction” at Nurisarang Community Child Center in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, on the 14th. Manager Won Seok-yun from Kumho Construction was seen playing the acoustic guitar.

Singer-songwriter “Vinche,” who won Top1 at the “2023 Incheon International Airport Busking Artist” competition and the grand prize at the “2023 Yeosu Night Sea Busking Contest,” performed an energetic stage for children ahead of the school term.

According to Kumho Construction, this concert was hosted by the company and prepared in collaboration with the non-profit organization “Together Learning.” It was aimed to provide a special experience to children and teenagers who have fewer opportunities to engage in cultural activities. Around 40 elementary and middle school students affiliated with the Nurisarang Community Child Center were invited to enjoy a variety of performances for about an hour.

The concert opened with a remarkable acoustic guitar accompaniment by Manager Won Seok-yun, performing the band Jaurim’s song “25, 21.” This was followed by the talented singer-songwriter Vinche vigorously singing 12 songs including “I’ll Meet You,” “Kkondae,” and “Baba,” heating up the atmosphere. Popular songs among Generation Alpha (born after 2010) like “The Dream of the Octopus” and “Night Yakgtang,” as well as various tracks like “Ditto” and “APT,” were showcased, earning great responses from the audience.

Now in its 10th year, this concert is a representative cultural support project by Kumho Construction. Employees of Kumho Construction, along with artists from genres including pop, classical, and traditional Korean music, participate by donating their talents to help children and teenagers cultivate dreams and hope through culture.

Kumho Construction CEO Cho Wan-seok said, “This concert, where employees and artists participated together with one heart, was a meaningful event that gifted special memories and hope to the children.” He added, “We will continue to support various social contribution activities to help children nurture their dreams and envision a bright future.”
